The LoDi-Booster is a powerful dual-channel booster for digital model railway systems. With two channels delivering 2.3 A each, it ensures a stable power supply for all consumers—from locomotives and turnouts to accessory decoders. Thanks to its integrated short-circuit logic, only affected areas are shut down in the event of a fault, while the rest of the layout remains operational. The booster supports RailCom and provides the necessary cutout for feedback communication. Included is an adjustable switching power supply (13.2–22 V, max. 150 W), allowing flexible adaptation to various layouts.
The LoDi Booster is the perfect solution for reliable power supply in digital model railway systems. It features two powerful channels, each providing 2.3 A, which can be used separately or combined. In bridged mode, up to 5 A is available.
Optimal Power Supply & RailCom Support
The booster delivers the necessary power for locomotives, turnouts, and all other consumers on the model railway layout. For systems with RailCom monitoring, it offers a RailCom Cutout, enabling feedback from the vehicles.
Intelligent Short-Circuit Logic for Enhanced Safety
A special highlight of the LoDi Booster is its intelligent protection function: in the event of a short circuit – for example, caused by a derailed locomotive – only the affected section of the layout is shut down. This prevents major damage and allows the rest of the layout to continue running without interruption. The error information is automatically forwarded to the control software.
Easy Configuration & Customization
The current output can be easily adjusted using the LoDi-Programmer FX and the LoDi-Con, allowing the booster to be perfectly tailored to the specific requirements of your layout. If higher current is needed, the system can be easily expanded with additional LoDi Boosters.
