

The LoDi-KSM-P is a high-performance reverse loop module designed for large track gauges and digital model railways using a 2-rail system. It is independent of track type and compatible with all digital control formats. The automatic polarity switching is lightning-fast, works without contact tracks, and includes integrated short-circuit protection. With RailCom support, the module reliably transmits locomotive data to feedback modules. A DIP switch allows manual polarity switching via an external switching decoder. Perfect for model railways from Gauge 0 to G scale.
In digital 2-rail model railway systems, reverse loops occur when a train enters a turnaround loop and returns to the original track. This causes the polarity of the rails to cross, which leads to a short circuit if not switched correctly.
The LoDi-KSM-P detects this moment and instantly switches the polarity — and it does so without the need for contact tracks.

The LoDi-KSM-P is fully RailCom compatible and reliably transmits Channel 1 & 2 locomotive data through the reverse loop section. A major advantage: the module itself is not detected as occupied by feedback modules, so the normal occupancy detection of the locomotive remains intact.
The LoDi-KSM-P can operate in both automatic and manual modes. For manual polarity switching, an external switch decoder can be used. It is compatible with the following LoDi-Operator modules:
