

The LoDi-KSM is an intelligent reverse loop module for digital model railway systems. It is track-independent and compatible with all digital control formats. Polarity switching is lightning-fast, operates without contact tracks, and features integrated short-circuit protection. With RailCom support, the module reliably transmits locomotive data to feedback modules. Additionally, the loop polarity can be manually switched via an externally connected switching decoder. Compatible with track gauges from Z to G, the LoDi-KSM ensures reliable and seamless reverse loop control.
In digital 2-rail model railway systems, reverse loops occur when a train enters a turnaround loop and returns to the original track. This causes the rail polarity to cross, which leads to a short circuit without special switching. The LoDi-KSM ensures that the polarity is automatically adjusted, allowing the train to pass through the loop without any issues.

The LoDi-KSM is fully RailCom compatible and independently transmits Channel 1 & 2 locomotive data through the reverse loop section. Another advantage: The module itself is not detected as occupied by feedback modules, so the normal occupancy detection of the locomotive remains unaffected.
